Dear Families, My name is Jessica Penoro and I am your child’s Physical Education teacher. I am very excited to be a part of your child’s physical fitness learning and exploration. P.E is an important academic subject that teaches students to be physically active, work as a team, and set fitness goals that can last a lifetime.
I work closely with the NYCDOE office of School Wellness making sure our students are receiving the best opportunities available. Our curriculum focus on flexibility, cardiovascular endurance, muscular fitness, and healthy body composition. In addition, I also collaborate with New York Road Runners Rising New York Road Runners program. This program is designed for kids of all different fitness levels to build self-esteem and reach personal fitness goals.
